The Digital Awareness Bootcamp for Females was held on October 30, 2025, at the CSE Lab, Academic Building-03, MBSTU. Organized by the MBSTU Career Club in collaboration with IQAC, MBSTU, the event focused on promoting SDG 5: Gender Equality by empowering young women with essential digital skills.
Students from Santosh Islami University Girls' High School participated, gaining hands-on exposure to digital tools and resources aimed at bridging the gender gap in technology. The session provided a platform to enhance digital literacy and encourage female participation in the digital economy.

The MBSTU Cyber Security Club has been at the forefront of promoting cyber awareness, digital literacy, and innovation in technology.
The club successfully organized the event "Road to Cyber Security with Ostad", in collaboration with Ostad, MBSTU Photographic Society, and MBSTU Career Club. The initiative focused on empowering students with essential cybersecurity knowledge and fostering a culture of responsible digital engagement.

Held on January 18, 2025, the MBSTU Cyber Security Expo featured an Intra-University Capture the Flag (CTF) and Quiz Competition, Innovation and Project Showcasing, and a Workshop on "Introduction to Cyber Security." The event was organized by the MBSTU Cyber Security Club in collaboration with the University Cyber Center and inaugurated by Professor Dr. Md. Anwarul Azim Akhand, Honorable Vice-Chancellor of MBSTU.

In celebration of the 26th Founding Anniversary of MBSTU, Bandhan, MBSTU Unit organized a Free Blood Grouping Camp as part of the university day rally. A total of 64 participants benefited from this free health initiative, which aimed to raise awareness about blood donation and community health.

On October 20, 2025, the Animal Welfare and Rescue Society and MBSTU Career Club, with media support from the MBSTU Photographic Society, jointly organized an Animal Welfare Vaccination Camp at the university campus. More than 25 campus dogs and cats received free rabies vaccinations. The initiative emphasized compassion, responsibility, and creating a safer campus environment for all living beings.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a workshop titled "সর্বস্তরে বাংলা ভাষা: শুদ্ধ বানানে, শুদ্ধ উচ্চারণে" (Use of Bangla in Correct Spelling and Pronunciation) and inaugurated an Open Reading Library on October 20, 2025. The event aimed to promote accurate and respectful use of the Bangla language across academic and administrative activities, reinforcing national identity and linguistic integrity.

MBSTU places great emphasis on students' mental health, emotional well-being, and personal development. Several departments and student organizations have taken initiatives to create awareness about mental wellness and suicide prevention through workshops, seminars, and interactive discussions.
On May 21, 2025, a seminar titled "আত্মহত্যা প্রতিরোধ ও মানসিক স্বাস্থ্য বিষয়ে সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি" (Awareness on Suicide Prevention and Mental Health) was held at MBSTU. The event aimed to educate students about early signs of depression, coping strategies, and the importance of seeking help. Experts discussed the role of family, peers, and institutions in maintaining mental well-being.

On December 7, 2025, the Aloron Club, MBSTU, organized a seminar titled "এত হাসি কোথায় গেলো!" (Where Has All the Laughter Gone!) focusing on mental health, mindfulness, and emotional resilience. The interactive session engaged participants in mindfulness exercises and motivational discussions, encouraging positive mental health practices on campus.

MBSTU continues to strengthen its academic and administrative excellence through workshops, training programs, and capacity-building sessions organized by various departments and the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
From September 21–23, 2025, a two-day workshop titled "Implementation of OBE Curriculum: Continuous Improvement and Associated Challenges" was organized by IQAC, MBSTU. The workshop focused on integrating Outcome-Based Education (OBE) practices and enhancing teaching-learning quality in line with international accreditation standards.

On June 27, 2025, IQAC organized a two-day workshop on "Financial Management in the Public Sector" with a special focus on university financial administration and accountability.
